Chamber CEO Rebecca George commented: “Our new HQ is right in the heart of the city’s business district so it’s the ideal location, in addition to being a fantastic office space that provides more flexibility for holding meetings and functions. This has been a very busy year for championing the interests of the business community, while also growing our membership and affiliations with other business organisations. Our new office will provide the perfect base as the Chamber and our members look ahead to more exciting plans for 2024 and beyond.
From January 2024 Hillary House will also be the location for a new initiative – called ‘Launchpad’ – run in collaboration with the London Institute of Business and Technology (LIBT), Department for Enterprise and Chamber. LIBT Director Sesiri Pathirane said: “Launchpad – a thriving startup ecosystem – is set to unveil a flexible co-working space aimed at fostering collaboration among like-minded individuals, including entrepreneurs and early-stage startups. Our vision for 2024 commences with the initial launch in January, initiating an exciting journey for Launchpad and the business community of the Isle of Man.
More details about the launch will be shared soon on LIBT and Chamber social channels.
